| Importance
of your
Re-care Program
The belief that regular preventive dental health care is
important is
a practice that we encourage and recommend to our patients.
Regular
re-care appointments are scheduled for our patients every six months
with
our highly skilled, qualified and caring hygiene staff.
This six month appointment schedule provides a thorough
cleaning of
your teeth, an exam by the doctor, x-rays as needed for evaluation and
detection of caries and a periodontal evaluation to screen for
periodontal
disease.
Our youth patients are given the choice of fluoride
treatments that
accompany their cleaning appointments. Without a fluoride source in our
local water supply, fluoride treatments are a valuable addition to your
childs' preventive dental care program.
Discovering and treatment of decay is a positive step in
the present
and future retention of your teeth. The placement of sealants
adds
an additional safety net in the prevention of decay.
Your hygienist will schedule your six month recall
appointment each
time you come in. Patients that are treating periodontal disease
will be seen on a three to four month re-care schedule.
After your initial New Patient Evaluation, a re-care
program that fits
your individual need will be established. Your smile is
important
to us!
